Don’t lose the why.
Boro is an open journal for inspiration. Drop in anything that moves you and keep why it did.

susquatch, In This World (2009)
Pen and pencil, barely coloured in.
exp v4, my Japan edit
Tokyo after dark, running for the last train.
Feeling free.
The feeling I want every board to have.

Final Fantasy, package art
Amano's blues. Loose, like it was painted in one breath.

Yoshitaka Amano
His work.

Frame: rain
Blue light, rain, nobody knows me.

susquatch, Water plant (2007)
Japanese math rock. Every cover looks drawn by hand.

Frame: the river
Kept this one for the quiet. Every board needs a place to breathe.

Frame: the big screen
Blue on blue on blue. That's how I know they belong together.
Hey, I'm Bryan. I made Boro.
I've worked in music, video, photography and design.
I get inspired by everything. I wanted to know the inspiration behind every idea, so I made a board that helps you organize your vision. It all starts with a feeling.
Boro is a one-person team, so for any inquiry, ask me at bryan@boro.live.
I want creatives to draw inspiration from everything, all in one place.
That's why I'm building Boro: one sheet for whatever moves you, and the reason it did.
Anything that moved you.
A sound
Sounds play right on the board. Record a voice memo, or trim a song to the part that matters.
A loop
Loop a few seconds of any video so it plays like a GIF: forwards, backwards or bounce.
Blue on blue on blue.
A note
Notes take bold, italic and highlights that point to other things on the board.
A link
Every link keeps a way back to where it came from. Spotify, YouTube and SoundCloud play right on the board.
A drawing
Draw over anything with a pen, then move and turn what you drew.
Paper
Every board picks its paper. Try one: this page changes with it.
On your phone, add a photo, a voice memo, a link or a note the moment it happens, each with its why.
End with a vision.
Picture a scene, then start dropping things in. Feel free. I can't wait to see what you make.
