boro

Terms

Updated 15 October 2026

These are the rules for using Boro. By using it, you agree to them. Boro is free, made by one person (me, Bryan), and still changing.

Your things are yours

You keep every right to what you put in Boro. I don't claim any of it. When you share a board, you let Boro store that copy and show it to anyone with the link, for as long as it's shared.

What you can share

A shared board is kept on Boro's server, so it has to follow these rules. Don't share anything that:

  • breaks the law, or infringes someone else's copyright or other rights
  • sexualises children in any way (it will be reported to the authorities)
  • harasses or threatens someone, or reveals their private information
  • is meant to trick or harm people, such as scams or malware

And don't misuse Boro: don't use share links as file hosting, or try to break or overload Boro, get around its limits, or get into anything that isn't yours.

I may take down a shared board that breaks these rules, without warning.

Report a board

If a shared board breaks these rules, or uses your work without your permission, email bryan@boro.live with its link and what's wrong. Every shared board has a Report link at the top that starts the email for you. For your own work, say what it is and where it appears on the board. I'll look at it and take the board down if it breaks these rules.

Keep a backup

Your boards are saved in your browser, not on Boro's server, so if the browser loses them, I can't get them back. Download a backup from All boards now and then.

Boro as it is

Boro is free, and it comes as it is. I can't promise it will always work, always be there, or keep every feature, and I may change it or stop it. As far as the law allows, I'm not responsible for lost boards or any other loss from using Boro.

Changes

If these terms change, the date at the top will change too. Using Boro after that means you accept the new terms.
